The 5:55 electronic recording arrives as the fourth signal from the forthcoming ten-track album TRANSMISSION.
ONLINE, 20 July 2026 — königslicht has released “earlier”, an electronic recording shaped around memory, disappearance and the strange afterlife of familiar places.
The track runs for five minutes and 55 seconds and occupies position four in the sequence of TRANSMISSION, the forthcoming album scheduled for 4 September 2026.
A place remembered after it changes
“earlier” treats the neighbourhood as an unstable archive: old structures disappear, new signals take their place and the screen becomes another location through which memory is experienced.
